Scott Palmer - Owner
Scott has over 20 years experience in servicing and rebuilding Harley engines and transmission. He was trained as a tool room machinist, worked for several aircraft industry shops nationwide and has several patents for duel-carb manifold development, and specialty exhaust venturi.
Craig Palmer 20 years experience in servicing and rebuilding Harley engines and transmission. Craig is a trained Harley mechanic and machinist. He has worked as an automotive machinist, and was the shop foreman for several years at Central Service in Oneida, New York. Craig is one of the best cylinder head men in the country! His work is outstanding.
Jim Zike
Jim is a trained certified Motorcycle Mechanic. He is experienced in 1000 mile, 5000 mile, and 10,000-mile service and is an expert in electrical systems diagnostic.
Hillside Motorcycle and Machine Shop has the most comprehensive motorcycle machine shop in the entire Upstate New York area. Our three milling machines and one of our three lathes are equipped with Accurite ® and Mitutoyo ® digital read-outs. We have grinding capabilities that are not found in other motorcycle machine shops. Not only do we have the tools -- we also have a 20-year experienced tool room machinist who has tooled the shop with jigs and fixtures that allow modifications including: big bore case mod's, dual plugging, custom piston manufacture, 30 degree chambered cylinder heads, and thunder-jetted carburetors, just to name a few!
